Here you can find the frequently asked questions about xenA bot. This section will always be updated, as more questions are asked.

General questions

What is xenA?

Please read our Documention to know more about the bot.

What permissions does the bot require?

  • KICK_MEMBERS - Required foe the kick members command

  • BAN_MEMBERS - Required foe the kick members command

  • SEND_MESSAGES - Required for the bot to answer your messages

  • MANAGE_CHANNELS - Required to manage house channels and tickets

  • ADD_REACTIONS - Required to add reactions on messages

  • SEND_MESSAGES - Required to send messages

  • MODERATE_MEMBERS - Required to timeout members

  • REQUEST_TO_SPEAK - Required to speak in stage channel

  • CONNECT - Required to connect to the 24/7 radio

  • READ_MESSAGE_HISTORY - Required to read messages in channels

  • MANAGE_MESSAGES - Required to delete messages

If the bot is missing a permission it will send back an error letting you know what permission is missing.

xenA is not responding or interaction failed, why?

The bot is still and always will be in development, so sometimes the developers team will add new feature or new commands which require turning the bot off for a short period of time, always check if the bot is online, or has all the permissions needed to run in your server. Sometimes the bot will be offline for a period of time for multiple reasons:

  • The host is down or under maintenance

  • The bot encountered a fatal error that caused a crash

Is xenA an open source?

We are not thinking of uploading publicly the source code of xenA.

How to remove xenA from the server?

You can simply kick the bot out by right clicking on it and press on kick xenA

How Can I suggest new features?

To suggest new features you can simply join the support server and use =suggest <feature>.

What languages does xenA support?

For now the bot supports only english language, and we have no plans to change this.

Command is on cooldown, what does that means?

To prevent bot abuse, each command has a cooldown per user, if you come accross this message that means you are trying to use the command twice in a small amount of time.
